Florida Security Officers Job / Career
Florida Security Officers are the eyes and ears for law enforcement. As a Security Officer your responsibilities are to patrol and protect against theft, fire, illegal activity, vandalism, and terrorism. To be a Florida licensed (unarmed) Security Officer, you must first complete a 40-hour training course. Upon completion of the 24-hour initial training and within 180-days, you must complete the additional 16-hours.
