In an effort to recruit more Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary Troopers, the Florida Highway Patrol is now campaigning across South Florida looking for qualified men and women who are seeking to join the ranks and serve the citizens of the State of Florida.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be at least 19-year of age at the time the application is submitted
- Must have a high school diploma and or GED
- You must first download and submit a formal application
- Successfully complete and pass the “BAT” Basic Aptitude Test
- Must pass a physical examination from a certified licensed doctor
- Must pass a thorough background screening investigation
- Must pass a polygraph
- Must be in good physical health
- Must be in good standing financially and morally
FHP Auxiliary (FHPA) Trooper(s) is a diverse group of men and women who donate their time, and risk their lives to assist road Trooper in keeping the highways of the State of Florida safe.
